Jasmine Trinks
Jasmine graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015 with a BA in Russian Language and Culture and a minor in German. She completed her senior thesis on Vladimir Mayakovsky's poetic personae in his plays Vladimir Mayakovsky: Tragediia and Misteriia-buff, and is currently researching and translating Mayakovsky's poetry. Her academic interests include nineteenth- and twentieth-century Russian poetry, poetry translation, and the intersection of politics and aesthetics in Russian culture.
