Veronika Andrianova Schmitt

Veronika graduated from the Moscow State University in 2018 with a B.A. in philology, specializing in Modern Western European Languages and Literature. Later she studied Literary Theory and Comparative Literature in Germany at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, receiving her M.A. in 2020. Her Master’s thesis was devoted to Russian translations of Goethe’s Faust. Veronika’s research interests include translation studies, interdisciplinary connections between literature and music, poetry in general and relationships between Russian and European poetry, as well as reciprocal influences of European, especially German, and Russian literature.
