Student Organizations

The Northwestern University Polish-American Student Alliance (PASA) was founded in the fall of 1996. Since its establishment, PASA has grown tremendously. PASA's mission is simple: to promote cultural awareness of all things Polish. The organization does not restrict membership solely to those of Polish descent. It welcomes students with any interest in Polish history, society and culture. Its dual goal is to teach as well as to learn. We have accomplished this in the past by advocating for Polish language education, hosting bonfires and holding an annual Polish Culture Night.

The Russian Club welcomes anyone with an interest in Russian Culture!

Our events include language activities, movie screenings, dinners featuring traditional Russian food, attending Russian ballets, and participating in Russian literary nights.  We aim to educate, inspire, and encourage everyone to pursue further engagement with Russian culture during their time at Northwestern University.  Contact Russian Club Chair, Sydney Matrisciano, or Prof. Martina Kerlova for more information.
